Dancers were put through their paces for a special zumba class to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

Kate Williamson hosted the two-hour 'party in pink' session at Newlands Girls' School on Saturday, May 10, with the help of Helen Beverage and Carla Leech.

More than 60 zumba enthusiasts took part on the day, which collected almost £1,000 for the charity and also involved a prize draw, cake sale and raffle.

"We really tried to create a party atmosphere and everyone seemed to enjoy every minute, although they were all tired after two hours!" said Kate.

The instructor runs weekly classes at Desborough College, Altwood School and the Magnet Leisure Centre.
