A  pair of Cambridge University graduates are set to be elected as the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead.

Cllr Richard Kellaway (Con, Bisham and Cookham), Mayor-elect, studied at Pembroke College. While Cllr James Evans (Con, Clewer South), Deputy Mayor-elect, is a former student of Peterhouse. 

Both are set to be confirmed in their new roles for the 2014-15 civic year at the annual meeting of the Royal Borough at 7.30pm on Tuesday. It is all taking place in the Guildhall, Windsor High Street.

Outgoing Mayor Cllr Andrew Jenner (Con, Maidenhead Riverside) raised more than £20,000 for good causes during his year in office, including his chosen charities Maidenhead Sea Cadets and the Windsor and Maidenhead Starfish Swimming Club. 

During his mayoral year he attended several hundred civic engagements across the borough.

New mayor Cllr Kellaway has represented Bisham and Cookham ward since being elected as a Royal Borough councillor in 2007.
