Organisers of this year’s Maidenhead Festival are calling on businesses in the area to support the biggest event in the town's calendar.
Taking place on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday July 27, the festival is a family-focused mix of music, fun and entertainment. The packed two-day programme will have a pirate theme, with everyone encouraged to dress up.
It will feature the return of the Maidenhead beach and there will be a treasure hunt for children. A special 'Pirate Cove' area of the park is also planned, with lots of activities for children.
More than 45 bands have registered to perform on the main stage or acoustic tent and the Saturday night will see the traditional headline concert followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
In addition there will be a fairground, stalls and sideshows and new this year, the festival will host the Royal Counties Festival of Strength - a strongman competition.
Festival chairman Steph James said that with tens of thousands of people attending, the event was a great platform for sponsors to raise awareness of their brands.
"The festival is one of the highest profile community events in Maidenhead and it’s a great opportunity for businesses to get involved and show their support for the town," she said.
"Without the support of our sponsors it would be impossible to put on such a great local event for everyone in the town to enjoy. So please get on board and sign up for Festival 2014," she said.
A variety of sponsorship packages are available to suit most budgets. For details please contact Steph James on 01628 796128.
