Roadworks cause delays into Maidenhead

Roadworks in Ascot Road and Bray Road caused delays coming into Maidenhead today.

Reports are that a set of temporary traffic lights were in operation in Bray Road this morning, causing tailbacks and adding about 20 minutes onto journey times.

Southern Electric are installing a new connection in Bray Road, leading to delays in Bray, Oldfield and Upper Bray roads.

The A308 (Ascot Road) also has temporary lights, as gas mains are being installed for the new Holyport College school.
