Bunny Fun Run 2014: List of expected road closures

Drivers will be affected by road closures in Maidenhead on Sunday for the annual Rotary Bunny Fun Run.

The charity event begins at 9.30am and will start and end in Oaken Grove Park, where hundreds of runners dressed as rabbits will complete a 5km route.

It is due to end at 11.30am.

Roads that will close entirely from 9.30am to 11.30am are:

  • Belmont park Road, Belmont Park Avenue, College Road, Keble Road, College Avenue, College Glen, Fielding Road, Gordon Road, Highfield Road, Halifax Way and Lincoln Road.
  • Courthouse Road will be closed between its junctions with Linden Avenue and St Mark’s Road.
  • Belmont Road will be closed between its junctions with College Road and Hargrave Road.
  • Belmont Vale will be closed between its junctions with College Glen and Gordon Road and its junctions with Cromwell Road and Gordon Road.
  • All Saints Avenue will close between its junctions with St Mark’s Road and Courthouse Road.
  • Alwyn Road will close from its junction with Pinkneys Road for its entire length.
  • Halifax Road will close from its junction with Lancaster Road to north of its junction with Lincoln Road.
  • Lancaster Road will close between its junctions with Alwyn Road and Halifax Road.
  • Oaken Grove will close at its junction with Lincoln Road.

Vehicle access may also be restricted on the following roads:  Park Side, Elton Drive, Creden Close, Hargrave Road, Grassy Lane, Lynton Green, College Rise, Alexandra Road, Belmont Crescent, Spencers Road, Spencers Close, Cromwell Road,  Derwent Drive, Belmont Drive, Mulberry Walk, Ashcroft Road, Murrin Road, Winston Court, Halifax Close, Stirling Grove, Sunderland Road, Hampden Road, Merlin Court, Blenheim Road, Wellington Close, Victor Close, Oldershaw Mews, Taylors Court, Beech Close, Castle Hill Terrace, Loddon Drive, Walker Court, Corfe Place, Archer Close and Langton Close.
