A lesson in fire safety was given to 75 pupils at Furze Platt Junior School.
On Wednesday, January 29, a female and male firefighter visited the school in Oaken Grove, Maidenhead to share tips on preventing and putting out fires to the students in year five.
As well as finding out about how they can make their homes safer the children took part in drama exercises and acted out how they would respond in a blaze.
Teacher Gemma Bartholomew said: "It was great to get the children aware of fire safety, both within school and in their own homes."
"It seemed to really engage them and they got a lot out of it. "
