A woman was taken to hospital this morning after a smash on the M4.
Two fire crews from Maidenhead were called to the scene at 4.15am on the westbound lanes between Junctions 8 and 9 where a van and a lorry had collided.
The drivers of each vehicles were not injured, but the passenger of the van had to be cut out of the wreckage before was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital by the ambulance service.
All lanes of the M4 around the accident are now re-open.
