Scorching weather is thirsty work and two new cafes are opening in Maidenhead to provide those much needed refreshments.

No.1 Park Cafe will open for business on Friday at 9am in Kidwells Park pavilion and will be offering new customers a complimentary cup of tea or coffee.

The pavilion is in prime position for visitors using the playground or sports facilities close-by and will be open seven days a week.

Braywick Nature Centre in Hibbert Road will open its new garden cafe on Saturday, providing a range of summer activities for children and families on the day, alongside some light refreshments.

The cafe will be open Tuesday-Sunday throughout the summer holidays between 11am-4pm.
