Driver walks away unscathed from after M4 crash

A firefighter described a driver as 'extremely lucky' after he walked away unscathed from a car crash on the M4 yesterday morning.

The accident happened at around 10am on the westbound carriageway between junctions 8/9 for Maidenhead and junction 10 for Wokingham and Bracknell.

Firefighters from Maidenhead Fire Station and an ambulance were called to the scene but the driver had not sustained any injuries.

Watch manager Yemi Cullimore said: "The car had left the motorway and took out a number of trees and landed in a field after rolling a few times
"He is an extremely lucky man."
