Sean Rumsey from Maidenhead has bowed out of BBC talent show The Voice.

The 26-year-old singer performed Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers in a knockout round which saw him pitted against fellow Team Danny members Conor Scott and Mitchel Emms.

But when it came to the crunch The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue chose to take Mitchel to the live shows.

On Monday Sean tweeted: "Last night it was a shame to be out @BBCTheVoiceUK but there's more to come..."

He added he had been 'humbled' by the response to the show.
