Views are being sought on Essential Living's proposed redevelopment of Berkshire House in Maidenhead.

The firm wants to transform the eyesore off Queen Street into more than 60 high-quality homes.

This week about 10,000 leaflets have been delivered to households across the town.

A public exhibition is set to take place on the ground floor of the building on Thursday from 12.30-7pm, and Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Essential Living hopes to submit a planning application later in the summer.

It has set up a website, www.berkshirehousemaidenhead.co.uk, with more details, and a Twitter account using the handle @berkshirehse

News that the building had been sold to the developer for £2.9million was first announced in November.
