Plastic ducks are waiting to be sponsored as the annual Maidenhead Duck Derby draws closer.
The popular event is due to take place on Sunday, May 19, at Ray Mill Island and will see thousands of ducks released into the river as eager spectators watch to see which one will cross the finish line first.
The Duck Derby, now in its 29th year, will begin at 1pm and there will also be live music from Cox Green school jazz orchestra, refreshments and craft stalls.
Visit Sainsbury's or Waitrose in the town centre on the Saturday, May 11, or Sunday, May 12, to sponsor a duck, or they can be sponsored on the day.
