King Street in Maidenhead is set to come alive with continental flavour.
Maidenhead Town Partnership has allocated space for a street-food festival where stalls will sell gourmet cuisine including everything from Caribbean, gourmet sausages, paella, French crepes, and Thai.
The stalls, along with a host of street entertainers will pop up on the weekend of May 10-11.
The goal is to create a temporary town square for residents to enjoy during the day with the family, or in the evening for a drink.
Event organiser Esther Brienza said: "It's an idea I'd been trying to get off the ground for ages before the town partnership offered the space for it.
"It is a great opportunity to provide an area to bring the centre back to life."
The festival is still looking for performers for the weekend
