Hotly tipped band Sennen has been chosen to headline the first ever live music event at the newly opened Firestation Centre for Arts and Culture in Windsor.

The Norwich-based four piece will light up the stage in Windsor on Friday, September 5 for the launch of monthly band showcase Ignition!

Run in association with music website www.muhead.com its aim is to attract the countries up and coming bands and make the Firestation the place to go to see the next big thing.

Sennen are just kicking off their UK tour to coincide with the release of their new single Just Wanted To Know on September 29th.

So far they have gone from the 'tiny and in the middle of nowhere' Frankstock festival in Norwich to playing on the main stage at the Green Man Festival. Their first studio album, Where the Light Gets In, was released in May and has received a resounding thumbs-up from the industry.

The band was formed six years ago when childhood friends, Larry Holmes, Andrew Horner and Richard Kelley all left the Isle of Wight to go to University in Norwich. There they met drummer James Brown and Sennen was born.
