Flogging Molly - Reading Festival

Reading Festival lock up stage

Flogging Molly

I only discovered this band a few months ago but since then have often stuck on their music and jumped around my room like a loon. You know that kind of arm flailing, head banging crazy dance that we all do  when noones watching.

Now imagine a tent full of thousands of people all doing the same.

They tore up the stage, roaring through tracks at their usual manic Irish speed.

The frenzy rose as hoards of people sporting piercings, tattoos and dreadlocks bundled into the centre, moshing their hearts out.

A few daredevils even climbed the tents support ropes and dangled above the crowds heads.

You couldn’t help but be swept up in the energy and we left with grins on our faces.
