OLYMPICS: Rowing update - day two

Marlow rower Zac Purchase is safely through to the semi final of the Men's lightweight double scull in the Beijing Olympic rowing with Mark Hunter.

Another Marlow Rower, Annie Vernon has completed her first ever Olymipc row as part of the Women's Quad Scull. Her teammates include the experienced Katherine Grainger, also from Marlow Rowing Club, Francis Houghton and Debbie Flood.
The girls, who could be in with a chance of Gold, have made it through the qualification round.

The women's eight, including local hope and three-time Olympian, Sarah Winckless Henley-On-Thames, will be lining up later today.
