Young woman killed in sports car

A woman in her twenties has been killed after the sports car she was travelling in crashed into a golf driving range.

The MG convertible left the road yesterday while it was travelling along the Bath Road, near the junction of Elbow Meadow, in Colnbrook.

The victim, who has not been formally identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not yet known whether she was the driver or a passenger.

A second woman in the car, also in her twenties, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.

The circumstances of the collision are currently under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the collision is being urged to contact PC Dave Beeson on 0845 8 505 505.
