Old fashioned cash will beat card fraudsters

12:00am Thu 10th Jan 08

After reading your article on January 3, I feel that as a community we need to warn each other and try to put a stop to the rising level of fraud from card cloning at petrol stations.

Over the last two weeks I myself have become a victim, as well as another family member, a colleague and friends. Now over the next few weeks I will be running around contacting my bank, the police, using my resources, my time and now my overdraft!

I will now go back to the ‘old’ days of using cash. I would like all of the readers to also use cash at petrol stations, it may take five more minutes to draw out the cash but believe me it will save you a lot of hassle in the future.
