Nicola Sanders begins her final preparations for the Beijing Olympics tonight (Friday) when she returns to action at the London Grand Prix in Crystal Palace.
The Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow athlete has been out with a hamstring injury for almost a month but was selected for the 400m and 4x400m in GB’s Olympic team.
At the London Grand Prix, TVAC-based athlete Sanders will compete against Christine Ohuruogu, who will be her teammate in Beijing.
Sanders won her first two races of the season but has not run for three weeks.
Fellow local sprinter Marlon Devonish , pictured, will also be in action at Crystal Palace tonight.
