The devastated family of a young woman who died after a fire at a house in Cippenham have described their loss as ‘irrecoverable.’

Saher Hasan, described as a devoted mother and loving wife, was rushed to hospital last Tuesday afternoon suffering from severe burns.

The 21-year-old died from her injuries at 5.30am the following morning, leaving her family in a state of grief and shock.

Police are not treating her death as suspicious and no-one else was injured in the incident.

In a statement released by the Chaudary family, days after her death, a spokesperson said: “We have been utterly devastated and in extreme shock over the irrecoverable loss of the greatest jewel of our family. Saher Hasan, a devoted mother and an extremely loving wife, met her end in an extremely sad way.

“She was a shining star whose brightness filled the lives of those nearer to her with happiness and joy and fulfilling the needs of her loved ones. Her memories will always live in our hearts and our minds till the day we will join her in heaven.”
