Two police bikes and two cars in M4 crash

Drivers who witnessed a serious crash on the M4 on Sunday are being asked to come forward to police.

The collision, involving a silver Mazda and a black BMW and two police motorcycles from Warwickshire Police, happened at 9.45am on the M40 northbound between junctions four at High Wycombe and five, Stokenchurch.

One officer suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to the JR2 Hospital, Oxford, where shen was undergoing treatment yesterday. Others involved in the collision were treated at the scene for minor injuries. 

The black BMW failed to stop at the scene.
