Maidenhead United Ladies have secured a major pre-season coup by signing up Ryan Salmon as their new coach.

Salmon, who was training Reading Royals in the National League last season, will take over as first team coach at Maidenhead United Ladies on July 1.

She said: “I am delighted to become part of Maidenhead United Ladies FC and look forward to working alongside team manager Mike Stevens.
"I believe that with the set up we already have in place and the big future plans we have, we can move this club forward and achieve great success along the way.

"These are exciting times for everybody involved at Maidenhead United Ladies FC and I am looking forward to being an integral part of this, and relishing the challenge ahead.”

Maidenhead United Ladies will compete in the Southern Regional League next season, the third highest league in English women's football, and are expected to challenge for promotion.
Their first game is against Reading FC women on Sunday, August 24 at York Road.
It will be free entry with kick off at 2pm.
