New sponsor for Magpies away kit

9:00am Sat 14th Jun 08:: written by Steve Spencer

Maidenhead United FC will be playing in an all-red away kit next season after securing a new sponsor.

Harlequin Travel, a Wycombe-based coach company, have agreed to sponsor the team’s away kit for the next two seasons and their logo will appear on the front of the away shirts.

The Magpies use Harlequin Travel for transport to away games and this new sponsorship deal means they will continue to provide transport for the next two seasons.

In addition, the coach company will be the exclusive travel provider for supporters to away games.

Tim Edwards, Harlequin Travel’s proprietor, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Maidenhead United’s away kit for the next two seasons. It makes sense for us to be the away team’s sponsors as we take the Maidenhead players to all of their away games.

“The coach trip experiment last season was great fun and we were delighted with all the publicity that came with it - which all helps.

“We got used to bringing the Maidenhead players back from away games in a good mood last season as they had some great results away.

“We are really looking forward to next season as the club’s new away kit sponsors and hope the team can do well away again and have a good season.”
