Magpies bid farewell to Brown

9:00am Tue 10th Jun 08:: written by Steve Spencer

Magpies manager Johnson Hippolyte has confirmed that powerhouse midfielder Darti Brown will not be returning to Maidenhead United next season.

Brown, pictured being sent off against Lewes in February, was an influential member of the Magpies team which made the amazing late run to promotion via the play-offs from the Southern League a year ago.

All in all, Brown appeared 70 times for the Magpies, having arrived at York Road from Yeading in December 2006.

Hippolyte, who also enjoyed much success with Brown at Yeading, was eager to praise the player's contribution to his teams and wished him all the best for his future career.
