Maidenhead racing driver Joe Fulbrook claimed a brace of top four finishes at the weekend to move into second place in the Volkswagen Racing Cup.

At Rockingham in Northamptonshire, 37-year-old Fulbrook stormed from 17th on the grid in his Bora Turbo to finish third in the first race (13 laps). He then followed it up with a fourth place finish in race two (12 laps).

Farnham Royal's John Quartermaine was also in action at Rockingham. The 54-year-old racer drove his new Golf GTI to 10th and 11th positions in respective races.
