Here are this week's top tips for the weekend from our resident horseracing expert, Benny The Book.

Tomorrow Newbury stages its biggest meeting of the year so far with the highlight being the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes (2.45pm).

This looks to be another chance for the bin Suroor/Dettori team with a four-year-old who was second in both the French and Irish 2000 Guineas last season.

The only doubt is over the ground, as the horse would prefer the going on the firm side.

If Newbury is deluged in the morning, it might be worth looking to Mick Channon who takes the short hop down the A34 with Majestic Roi, who the trainer feels is a future Group 1 horse.

The previous race (2.10pm) could provide the first half of a Dettori double as Frankie takes the ride on hot favorite Regal Flush, who stepped up from handicap races to finish fourth in the St Leger and seems capable of more improvement this season.

Finally, one unconsidered race tomorrow is the bumper at Uttoxeter (8.40pm), where what could be a very useful four-year-old makes his racecourse debut. Choctaw Nation is being partnered by Tony McCoy who must feel this Sadlers Wells colt has something to offer.

Benny is taking a couple of weeks break but will return on June 5 with a look ahead to the following day's running of The Derby.
