Three Marlow rowers took gold in the rowing World Cup in Munich yesterday.

The wins helped Great Britain recapture the World Cup points trophy 12 months after the suffered the pain of losing it to the Germans.

Fellow Marlow rowers, Rob Williams and Sarah Winkless were so successful as they could only manage fifth in the mens and womens pairs respectively.

For a full report on the World Cup and reaction from the rowers, see Thursday's Advertiser.
