Some love Burnham Beeches for its picturesque views and ambient setting.
Back-flipping Adam Hodges, however, looks at the ancient woodland as the perfect playground to indulge in a spot of tree-running.

The pliable 18-year-old, who admits he is scared of heights, took up free-running, the 21st century art of gracefully negotiating built-up areas, two years ago. But bored with the concrete jungles of Reading, Maidenhead and Slough, he decided to translate his talents to the famous woodland.

He swings his way across trees and leaps, flips and jumps through the woodland in a daring display of agility. Despite scaling trees and climbing through them at heady heights, the twinkle-toed Burnham Grammar School pupil claims to have come out of it all relatively unscathed.

"I've only really been hurt once and that was a while ago when I tried to backflip and hit my head on a wall," he said. "That wasn't very clever."
"It's my form of exercise," he added. "I'd rather do it than go to a normal gym."

See Adam in action in his youtube video.
