Face-painting and a penalty shoot-out will be just some of the activities taking place at an upcoming Sainsbury's fun day to raise money for this year's Maidenhead Carnival.
The event on May 3 will see staff and customers alike taking part in a number of fundraising activities on the piazza outside the town centre store in Providence Place.
The afternoon, which has been organised by Sainsbury's staff, is to help boost funds for the Maidenhead Carnival, and the festivities are hoped to raise £2,000.
As well as a whole host of wacky activities and performances from Stagecoach Theatre School, staff from the store will also be bag packing to raise extra cash.
"The plan is to get staff and customers to come along and have a great afternoon, as well as raise some money for a good cause within the local area," said Nick Smith, store manager.
"We want to make sure the carnival happens and support it as best we can."
The fun day will be held from 11am-3pm. For more details call 01628 635629.
