He's all shook up

11:26am Tue 15th Apr 08:: written by Alastair Beach

A hound dog Elvis act looks set to leave punters all shook up at a gig next month.

Former Piggott School pupil Ben Portsmouth will be donning his jump suit and belting out some racy jail house rock for the charity gig at Loddon Hall in Twyford.

The show is in aid of the Sue Ryder Care Home in Nettlebed, and Ben has promised a night to remember.

The 28-year-old said: "I'm different because I'm a young guy and I've got my own backing band.
"I think Elvis had it all. He had the songs, the material, the looks and above all an amazing voice.
"When you put that together you've got a winning combination."

Ben will be taking the floor on Saturday, May 3.
