8:44am Tue 8th Apr 08:: written by Sam Moulson

A Tesco store in Wooburn Green has been targeted by robbers for the second time in 48-hours.

Raiders armed with a hammer and crowbar struck at the Tesco Express in The Green at 9.45pm on Sunday.

The thieves, who disguised their faces with scarves, snatched cash from the till before making their getaway.

The store had been also targeted the day before when two men burst in and demanded cash from terrified staff.

Police are not linking the two raids.

Speaking after the latest robbery, DC Mark Martin said: "I would like to speak with anyone who saw the men before or after they were in the shop and particularly to two customers, a man and a woman, who were inside the shop at the same time as the incident. The information they have could further our investigation."

If you have any information, contact DC Mark Martin at High Wycombe CID via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or if you don’t want to talk to police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
