Matejovsky's ban keeps him out of Reading lineup

12:00pm Fri 4th Apr 08:: written by Dave Goodwin

The Royals will be without Marek Matejovsky for tomorrow's Premier League trip to Newcastle as the midfielder serves a one-match ban following his sending off last week against Blackburn last week.

His likely replacement is Kalifa Cisse, of whom Steve Coppell said yesterday: ""Cisse is the obvious replacement. He gives us more steel, especially for an away game like we've got this weekend. "He's been doing OK, he played for the reserves midweek and you're just looking for an attitude and an approach."

Winger Glen Little takes his place in the squad for the first time in 12 months after a successful run-out with the reserves on Tuesday to complete his comeback from an Achilles injury.
