But now that task has been made somewhat easier thanks to an inspiring website called fabnfunkygifts.com launched by a graphic designer based in Windsor. 

Sharon Tomkins, 31, was in a quandary when she could not think of a present for her husband, and believing many people must face the same dilemma when buy gifts for family and friends she launched her own business. 

The business was originally launched in 2005 but the site was plagued by internet problems. 

Sharon relaunched the site and is now building up the product range and is eager to hear from . Sharon said: “We are constantly searching for the most innovative and exciting products and our aim is to bring these to you first.

“Many of our products are brand new inventions and fabnfunkygifts.com always strive to feature these ideas as soon as they are launched, enabling you to find the most unusual innovative gifts available.”

All the gifts Sharon sells are chosen by her and many are not available anywhere else. The gifts are aimed at people with a passion for cutting edge design, unusual gifts, gorgeous home furnishings and fabulous accessories. 

Most of the products are not mass produced and not available in the general high street stores. And prices range from under £5 to about £3,500 so there is something for every budget which means no more tearing your hair out traipsing in vein up and down the streets wondering what to get that guy or girl who has everything.
