Arson suspected after Jaguar and van burn

Firefighters were called out last night to a disused garden centre in Maidenhead where two vehicles had been set on fire.

Maidenhead\'s white watch were called out to North Town Moor just before 10pm after high flames were spotted.

A Jaguar and a van had been set on fire, and it took fire officers over an hour to defuse the flames.

Police attended the scene and their inquiries are continuing. It is believed that arsonists were to blame.

Firefighter John Stevenson said: "We had a number of calls made to us about the fire as it could be seen from quite a distance."
