9:05am Fri 7th Mar 08:: written by Kelly Rawlings

Radio DJ Toby Anstis is known for reviving classic tunes on his 'Time Tunnel' challenge on Heart 106.2 radio and this week he rolled back his own clock with a visit to his old learning ground at Desborough School.

Pupils are taking part in the BBC's School Report scheme and put their new found journalism skills to the test by setting up a video interview with Toby, who is a for contestant on ITV's  I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.

Desborough School in Shoppenhangers Road is one of  many schools nationwide who have been taking part in the BBC scheme and a variety of news packages will air on News Day on Thursday, March 13.

Pupil Nick Henderson, 14, who got the chance to be cameraman, said: “We have been learning lots of things. We had a camerawoman from the BBC come and teach us how the camera works and a reporter helped us too.”

Dawn Hughes, the IT teacher running the project, said: "It is incredible to see how much they have learned. I have taken a cross section of boys from every level of ability, both shy as well as extroverts which is good because they encourage each other to take part.”
