Football line-up from the past

The discovery of an old team photograph has sparked an appeal for information from Advertiser reader Margaret Kildare.

She recently discovered this black and white image but knows little of the football players featured. “The photo belonged to my late father-in-law,” said Margaret, from Fifield Road, Maidenhead.

“To my knowledge it was a local football team called North Town. My father-in-law was in the back row, second from the right. His name was Kit Kildare.”
