Council's dilemma over Badnells Pit homes

11:44am Thu 5th Feb 09:: written by Staff reporter

Legal advice is still being sought by the Royal Borough over whether it should fight against the Badnell Pit homes development.

It was told on Tuesday last week that the Government has given Michael Shanly Homes permission to build 448 homes on the 15-acre Blackamoor Lane site.

It now has until March 10 to decide if it will challenge the ruling in the High court.

On Tuesday a council spokesman said a decision was yet to be made.
