Soak up the sweet sounds of Diana Ionescu in a piano recital on Valentine's Day. After her acclaimed performance of the Grieg Piano Concerto in 2006, Romanian pianist, Diana Ionescu returns to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts to give a full evening recital at 7.30pm.

Her programme includes a group of Scarlatti sonatas, Schubert’s hauntingly beautiful first set of impromptus and Liszt’s famous Liebestraum.
Diana has chosen to play Liszt’s Liebestraum (German for Dreams of Love), which is based upon poems by Ludwig Uhland and Ferdinand Freiligrath. The three poems by Uhland and Freiligrath depict three different forms of love.

Cupid's arrow could strike love-lorn strangers at a special Valentine's day event to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Ascot business Dance Parties Plus is searching for Romeos and Juliets to attend its speed-dating night in Maidenhead in aid of the BHF's Valentines appeal.
The charity is aiming to raise £1m to help fund BHF Heart Nurses and the charity’s Heart Help Line.
Gill Barrow from Dance Parties Plus said: "We decided to support the valentine appeal because we wanted to do something fun for a good cause and our Valentine Speed Dating is the ideal event.
"We hope to raise several hundred pounds for the British Heart Foundation’s vital care work."
Anyone who is single, looking for love, and in their 30s, 40s or 50s is welcome to attend on Wednesday February 13 at Bird Hills Golf Club, Drift Road, Hawthorn Hill (A330), Maidenhead.
No pre-booking is required, just turn up between 8-8.30pm at the latest.

Love will be in the air at the Stanley Spencer gallery on Thursday after the venue was voted as one of the most romantic landmarks in Britain.
The popular gallery in High Street, Cookham will open its doors for special Valentine's viewings after being voted the 45th most romantic venue in an article in a national newspaper.
The gallery is usually closed during the winter but will be open between noon and 4pm to mark the achievement.

If you're looking for love on Valentine's Day, go along to a social evening for single professional people over the age of 45.
The Merry Go Round is a free club organised by its members and newcomers are always welcome.
