Stabbing suspect released without charge

A suspect arrested in connection with a stabbing in Boyn Hill has been released without charge.

The brutal robbery on Thursday, January 3 left the shopkeeper from Valley Food and Wine in Boyn Valley Road in need of surgery after being stabbed in the shoulder and abdomen.

A 24-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of robbery and released on bail.

He was released on Tuesday without charge. The police investigation continues.
