9:37am Thu 11th Dec 08:: written by Lisa De Sousa

A man is due to appear in court this morning charged over the carjacking incident that left Langley mum Caroline Johnson with horrific injuries.

Kevin Richardson, 33, of no fixed address, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking and grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is due to appear before East Berkshire magistrates this morning.

Miss Johnson, 46, of Humber Way, is still clinging to life at Wexham Park Hospital after more than a week in intensive care. Doctors have described her condition as 'critical but stable.'

The veterinary receptionist was ambushed by her attacker as she scraped ice from her windscreen on the morning of Tuesday, December 2. She had been preparing for the school run. The carjacker drove over her leaving her for dead yards from her home.
