Cookham Plan on the agenda at private meeting

12:52pm Wed 3rd Sep 08:: written by Sonia Kapur

Cookham Parish Council announced last night that the controversial Cookham Plan will be discussed again later this month - but only at a private meeting.

The village plan which was designed by a steering committee was presented to the council earlier this year.

The parish had then decided to revisit the plan, after several working groups had reviewed its proposals.

A traffic and transport group, consisting of volunteers from the village, have identified ways to widen the pavement in The Pound, Cookham.

At a parish council meeting held last night the clerk said that all the work, including original submissions from the steering committee, will be discussed by councillors on September 16.

The press and public will be excluded from this meeting.
