Assault victim left with head injuries

A 23-year-old man was left with serious head injuries after being assaulted in Slough in the early hours of Sunday.

Some time between 3.30am and 4.30am, the man was assaulted at an address in Goodman Park. 

He had cuts and bruises to his head and was taken to Wexham Park Hospital, where he was treated and discharged on Bank Holiday Monday.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Det Con Pete Clarke said: “We believe that several other people were involved in the incident and we are appealing for information about the identity and whereabouts of the offenders.”

*A 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and bailed until 17 September.
