Road safety calls after three crashes

A cry for safety levels to be improved has been made by householders living along a Maidenhead road after three crashes- including a smash that claimed a teenager's life.

The accidents have been in close proximity along Furze Platt Road as it swings past Pinkneys Farm and into Pinkneys Green.

Luke Edgington, 19, died in a crash near the junction with Abell Gardens in June, a teenage jogger suffered head injuries near the junciton of Pinkneys Drive in July and a week later a female cyclist suffered minor injuries near the junction with Winter Hill Road.
