A series of dawn raids were targeted at bringing down suspected drugs networks across Slough this morning.

The operation, part of the force's ongoing Operation Falcon drug crackdown was one of the biggest ever mounted by Thames Valley Police.

At around 6.30am officers clad in riot gear raided homes across the town with areas including central Slough and Stoke Poges targeted.

By the afternoon officers had executed 41 warrants with 34 of these being carried out in Slough, the other seven were carried out in London by officers from the Metropolitan Police.

Officers made a total of 32 arrests and assorted items have also been seized and are currently being analyzed by officers.

Police have stressed the operation is not terrorism related and Slough local police commander Supt Pete Davies, deemed the crackdown a success.
He said: "It will certainly have an impact in relation to the activity that we have seen previously."
