3:23pm Tue 8th Jul 08:: written by Claire Moulson

Wooden huts have been built, wild animals are roaming free and tropical flowers are blooming.

An African village has been constructed right here in Maidenhead.

Pupils from St Edmund Campion Primary School have been busy getting creative for their Take One Picture week, in which the continent of Africa has seen them build an exhibition in Norden Farm Centre for the Arts based on the way of life of the inhabitants.

Watch a video report here.

The exhibition Take One Picture is in the Gallery at Norden Farm until Sunday, July 20. Opening times are Tues-Fri 2-10pm; Sat-Sun 10am-10pm.

  • This looks really good - I can't wait to see it later in the week and knowing that Pat Shenstone, the Maidenhead artist, master minded the installation, I am sure it will be very good.Andy Jordan
