Cash reward to catch jewellery thieves

12:16pm Tue 8th Jul 08:: written by Claire Moulson

A reward is being offered to catch the thieves who stole some valuable hand-made jewellery from a car.

The owner is offering £1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for stealing a Toshiba laptop computer and a blue jewellery case from a blue BMW 5 Series in Sutherland Close, North Ascot.

The offence took place some time between 10.30pm on July 3 and 7.30am on July 4 after the car's rear window was smashed.

A briefcase was also taken, but discovered later that day in Colenorton Crescent, Eton Wick. However the computer and box containing a pair of earrings, three pendants on long chains, and a 'belly bar' are still missing. The items are made of 18 carat white gold set with diamonds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Mark Barnikel on 0845 8 505 505, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
