Search for fire victim's relatives

12:39pm Tue 1st Jul 08:: written by Luke Cross

An appeal has gone out to help track down the family of a man found dead after his caravan went up in flames more than a fortnight ago.

East Berkshire coroner’s office has identified Kevin Richard Webb, believed to be 49 years old, as the man found by firefighters after they tackled the blaze in Victoria Road on Saturday June 14.

At the time of the fire, residents said the caravan had turned up that Saturday along with a group of male travellers.

Although extensive enquiries have been carried out, his next of kin have yet to be located.
The coroner’s officer is asking for the public’s help in tracing relatives.
Mr Webb is thought to have relatives in Berkshire and the Bristol area.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Any relatives of Mr Webb should contact coroner’s officer Janine Prunty on 0845 8 505 505
