Farnham Royal remain top of Home Counties Premier Division Two West after securing their third win of the season against Thatcham Town on Saturday. Batting first, Ollie Clayson’s Royal set a target of 151 off 57 overs. In reply, Thatcham could only manage 131 off 44.2 overs despite Syad Ali Naqvi’s 72 to hand Royal victory.
Burnham dropped closer to the relegation zone with a loss at Wokingham as they failed to reach a target of 146 and succumbed on 114. Martin Wilson took figures of 5-48.

In Thames Valley League Division One, North Maidenhead drew with Kew on a damp surface. Bruce Fredericks hit 62 to take Kew to 209-5. However, it proved a total too high for North Maids as they notched up 194-7 off 48 overs to tie the match.

Maidenhead & Bray lost out by eight wickets to high-flying Datchet in Division 2A. Bray reached 156 with Choudhary firing 63, but Datchet raced to the win with Tim Aldis’ unbeaten 76 leading the side to 159-2.
Farnham Royal 2nds (142 off 51,3 overs) drew with Beaconsfield 2nds (114-8). Geoff Watts recorded 6-44.
Burnham 2nds (178) beat Marlow (164) by 14 runs in a closely fought contest.

Boyne Hill overcame a tough Slough 2nds side to win by seven wickets in Division 2B. Martin Preston (6-43) restricted Slough to 145 before Manish Chowdrey’s unbeaten 53 lead Hill to 147-3.

North Maidenhead 2nds fell to a three wicket defeat at the hands of Kew 2nds in Division 3A. Aziz’s 53 was not enough as Maids were bowled out for 145 in reply to Kew’s 198-7 total.

In Division 3B, Marlow Park overturned Hurst’s 202-9 (Knowles 100) to win by three runs with two wickets to spare. Ijaz fired 55 not out as he led Park to a winning total of 205-8.

Wooburn Narkovians (200-7) are top of Division 4A by one point after drawing Chalfont St Peter (171-9). White was the top performer with a stand of 72.

Maidenhead & Bray 2nds’ total of 102 was not good enough as they were beaten by Chesham 2nds (106-8) in Division 4B.
