2:44pm Wed 14th May 08:: written by Gareth McPherson

Police have still not been able to interview a man arrested in relation to a gun scare in Cippenham last week.

The 42-year-old, arrested last Wednesday morning for making threats to kill and possession of a firearm, is still in hospital under the supervision of staff.

Det Insp Steve Armstead, who is leading the investigation, said: "As a result, we have not yet been able to speak to him, however we hope to interview him as soon as possible."
He added that inquiries were ongoing.

The arrest was in connection with an incident on Tuesday, May 6,  when several residents called police reporting a man wandering around the Bower Way area of Cippenham, armed with what has been described as a small gun.
