Two held over gun incident

Police have arrested two men in connection with an incident in Cippenham yesterday.

Several members of the public reported seeing an armed man wandering around in the Bower Way area at about 2.46pm. It was believed the man made threats to a number of people. 

In the early hours of this morning two men were arrested from addresses in Cippenham in relation to the incident.

A 42-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of firearm (threats to kill) and a 48-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both were in police custody this morning.
